Program
Lake Titicaca is located at an altitude of 3856 meters above sea level and is the highest navigable lake in the world. At this tour we visit several islands of this lake and we will be able to experience their unique atmosphere. All tours are accompanied by a local guide that brings us into the lives of local community residents and explains their history and traditions.

In our offer you will find two options to visit the islands of the Lake Titicaca:

A. Uros and Taquile Islands - 1 day
At 6.40am we pick you up at your hotel in Puno and we go to the local lake harbor where a cruise ship will be waiting for us to take us to one of the Uros' floating reed islands. A representative of the local population will explain everything about the life of the local community and demonstrate the construction of floating reed islands.
After completing the visit to the island of Uros, we arrive after a two-hour cruise to the island of Taquile. Here we will be able to explore the island and see the people of the local community well-known by the weaving fabrics and their sophisticated patterns. These hand-made cloths are included in the World Heritage by UNESCO. After the lunch on the island we return to Puno after 3 hours of boat cruise and get to our hotel at approximately 4pm.
B. The Islands of Uros, Amantani and Taquile - 2 days with the opportunity to experience a little of the everyday life of the local people and spend one night at the family house. This experience will make our holiday unforgettable.
