The range of activities that can be carried out in the Huaraz Mountains is wide. We offer them in the form of a group or individual tours, tailored to the clients' needs. The most popular adventures we offer you in the following text.

 

Trekking

Classical Circuit of Santa Cruz - Vaqueria or Llanganuco for groups of 2 to 16 people for 4 or 5 days.

 

Day trips

Day trips to Chavin and Pastoruri Glacier with comfortable minibuses for up to 8 people. Further trips to Lake Paron, Pato Canyon, Puyas Raimondii in Winchus in Cordillera Negra.

 

Mountain Biking

Selection of the most interesting routes:

 

1. Portachuelo - Llanganuco - Yungay, this wonderful downhill will take you from 4750 masl to 2500 masl (to the bottom of the valley) on 35 km of unpaved road. The transport to 4750 m is in the form of minivan.

2. Lake Paron. Another downhill ride from 4200 masl to 2300 masl - 32 km.

3. Puyas Raimondii in Winchus, from 4200 masl to 2,300 masl From the top of the you will see the Pacific Ocean in the west and in the east famous Cordillera Blanca.

4. Pato Canyon. The downhill over 35 tunnels to Huallanca. After the lunch, back to Caraz.

5. Cross Country from Pueblo Libre to Caraz across the river, desert roads, forests, cactuses, along the way without almost any climb on an unpaved road - 9 km.

 

We have fully equipped bikes with CatEye Navigation, Airware helmets, so called Body Geometry gloves and altimeters. As an option, you can rent a bike: Specialized Rockhopper, Stumpjumper or Ground Control and Jamis Dakar or Dakar Pro.

 

Mountaineering

All-day mountaineering trips, ranging from light to medium difficulty include: full climbing equipment, instructor, transport to the start point (available for Caraz and Yungay).

 

Climbing the glaciers

This kind of sport is somewhat more demanding and depends which mountain you want to climb. Here we offer only tailor-made programs for our clients. The peaks we focus on are mainly: Pisco, Ishinca Massif, Huascaran, Alpamayo, Chopicalqui and Artesonraju.
