Our tour starts at 3.00am by picking you up at the hotel in Arequipa and leaving for Chivay. Here, after the breakfast at 6.00am, we will take the bus to La Cruz del Cóndor along the path stretching the edges of the Colca Canyon, the deepest canyon in the world with the depth of 4100m.

We will stop several times to enjoy the beautiful views of the Canyon. The guide will explain the history and the present of the Canyon's inhabitants. We will climb up to the famous La Cruz del Cóndor - from there is a magnificent view of the Canyon and the best place to watch sailing Andean Condor, the second largest terrestrial bird species.

Upon the return to Chivay, we will stop for lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch, we take the bus to Arequipa. We will pass through the Pampas Cañahuas Nature Reserve at the altitude of 3000 masl, where we will be able to see the alpacas and vicuñas. Our guide will explain the importance of these species.
